Source Perrier의 모든 보틀은 바로 이 단 하나의 수원에서 시작됩니다. In the Gard region of southern France, surrounded by the low Garrigue scrubland, Vergèze is a one-of-a-kind terroir. Rainwater filters slowly through the limestone of the Garrigue hills, gathering natural minerals, and below meets natural gas born of volcanic activity. So the water is already sparkling before it ever rises to the surface — a natural effervescence carried on for some 120 million years, since the age when dinosaurs roamed. Every bottle of Source Perrier begins at this one and only spring.

In 1863, an imperial decree by Napoleon III officially authorised the drawing of water from the Vergèze spring (Les Bouillens).
Here, Dr. Louis Perrier, a physician running the naturally sparkling thermal spa, and the Englishman
St-John Harmsworth, who acquired the site, began bottling and founded ‘Source Perrier’ —
drawing on his own exercise apparatus, the ‘Indian club’, to design the iconic bottle silhouette we know today.
Celebrated for its elegance and wit as the ‘champagne of mineral waters’,
in 1905 it received a British Royal Warrant and went on to conquer the world.
